I ordered a cake to celebrate my sibling's acceptance to their dream school, and it was perfectly balanced between sweetness and chocolate flavor. I've ordered a birthday cake from them before, and they never fail to exceed my expectations. They have a great variety cakes, cookies, and coffee that are all delicious, and the customer service is amazinggggg!!!!!!!! It's a great place to stop by for dessert
While visiting NJ, I was on the hunt for some great baklawa for my family and came across Kapadokya Online. I decided to stop by, and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a kind gentleman at the counter. I picked up a tray with three different kinds of baklawa and wow! Coming from Dubai, my standards for baklawa are pretty high, but this was exceptional. Fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor definitely a solid 10/10! The chocolate baklawa in particular was absolutely incredible. The shop itself is clean, comfy, and very welcoming. What really made the experience stand out was the customer service super kind and sweet. I’m definitely coming back the next time I’m in town!
Just around the corner from the Rutgers School of Social Work is Kapadokija. You guessed it... a Turkish bakery!! The place looks dark from the outside with tinted windows, but don’t be fooled. The inside is a blast of color & vibrancy. The place is enchanting, with mosaic lanterns hanging from the ceiling, and tucked away in a nook with seating for 4, is a gorgeous full moon backdrop embellished with pink cherry blossoms. The place is obviously popular, with every table filled, and guests clearly enjoying each and every bite. Small chatter and occasional laughter filled the air all around me while I stood in line. The man taking my order was patient and kind as I asked questions about the food items and he even gave me a taste without my asking. I tried the potato roll and the cheese roll. I also got a few pieces of baklava! (How could I resist??) And I tried the Turkish coffee & Mocha! Everything was incredible. Very unique to my taste buds, which is what I was hoping for! Will definitely head back here to try more items with names I haven’t heard before. Lovely! Perfect brunch spot!!

Great cookies and lightly sweet desserts! The staff are friendly and patient. Enjoyed their cookies very much after a long day at the nearby Zimmerli Museum.
What an unexpected gem. I’m a city lady but in New Brunswick unexpectedly for business and dropped into to this highly rated spot. The decor I clean, but somewhat plain but the staff is super friendly and the pastries, coffee and food are outstanding!!! Next time I’m anywhere near, I will definitely be stopping by (or I Will perhaps make a special trip - it’s that good).
Such good food at great prices! Everything was so pretty and the owner even gave us extra treats! Totally stop by if you’re downtown, 10/10 would recommend.
I had an amazing experience here with desserts and hot chocolate. Hospitality was nothing less than perfect and as a Turkish myself, I can say I felt home. We ordered Tresleches, Blueberry Cake, Cheese Cake ,few cookies and San-Sebastian Cake. Lemonades was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. They also have outside seating which is huge plus. Definitely will come again!
